Research
The Research Office provides administrative support to the Adventist HealthCare Limited Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC). The HREC is a registered NHMRC Ethics Committee and undertakes ethical review of all research activities involving humans which are to be conducted at an AHCL facility*.
The Research Office is also responsible for managing the governance of research undertaken at an AHCL facility*. Research projects are required to undergo site specific assessment before site authorisation approval can be granted by Adventist HealthCare Limited.
*This includes Sydney Adventist Hospital, San Day Surgery Hornsby, San Diagnostics & Pharmacy and the Australasian Research Institute.
