Free Enriching Survivorship program for cancer survivors
Enriching Survivorship by Cancer Council NSW is an eight week program designed to help cancer survivors restore their physical activity and emotional wellbeing after cancer treatment.
The evidence based program is facilitated by an exercise physiologist, dietitian, yoga instructor and volunteers providing a range of practical information and activities to help adjust to life after cancer treatment.
Components of the course include exercise and nutrition, yoga and mindfulness, and peer support.
The program will be run at the Sydney Adventist Hospital Cancer Support Centre from 4th September - 23rd October 2019.
