San Virologist Professor Rawlinson discusses COVID vaccinations on 2GB
As we have learnt, this virus doesn’t discriminate - we are seeing more and more young individuals suffering, just as we have with the elderly. One of the main focuses at the moment, with the consistently large number of cases we are experiencing in NSW, is vaccinations. As of Monday August 16, more than 15 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been given to Australians, and this number continues to grow.
Professor Bill Rawlinson AM, an infectious diseases expert in virology and molecular biology associated with Sydney Adventist Hospital – and Senior Medical Virologist and the Director of Serology and Virology Division at Prince of Wales Hospital, joins John Stanley to discuss key questions surrounding COVID-19 vaccinations.
