A message from ADRAs' Jessica Bryant - Disaster and Famine relief
ADRA's Fundraising Campaigns Officer, Jessica Bryant reports on the ongoing work to provide immediate help to people affected by disasters.
"The Black Summer decimated the lives and livelihoods of many Australian farmers.
On 31 December 2019 while Australians prepared to bring in the New Year, a ferocious fire ripped through Bill and Sandra's property in East Gippsland, Victoria. But thanks to the generosity of people like you, ADRA was there and ready to provide immediate food, cash grants and ongoing farming assistance.
Like the bushfires, all-natural disasters are unpredictable and devastating.
You can help ADRA be always ready and always there to help those who need it most. Your gift this February can ensure people like Bill and Sandra can receive the support they desperately need next time a disaster strikes.
ADRA, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, is the official humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
ADRA serves humanity so that all may live as God intended."
