Swaddle package launch celebration
Following the national launch of the San and HCF health fund innovative zero-out-of-pocket costs pregnancy package - the Swaddle San Baby Bundle - members of various teams who have been involved in the creation, negotiation, implementation, marketing and communications celebrated during a short morning tea.
San Chief Executive Officer Brett Goods reaffirmed that the package is a great opportunity, resulting from a pioneering collaboration, and with exciting benefits for patients.
“We have worked with a big group of obstetricians, paediatricians, anaesthetists, ultrasound and pathology providers.
In my mind maternity is a unique product in the way a lot of care happens during pregnancy outside the hospital.
Congratulations to all those that have done the leg work, and the various teams involved.”
HCF Hospital Relationship Manager Julia Sesnan who represented the large HCF team that partnered with the San to launch the unique funding package, good humouredly noted the development time was approximately nine months, like the pregnancy that the package for HCF eligible members funds.
“It’s been like having a baby” she said.
“There have been lots of meetings and everyone has been so supportive.
It’s been very exciting and it’s exciting to see what we can do in the future. Thank you.”
