NSW Election Pre-polling for Overnight Patients
Members of the NSW Electoral Commission Polling Team will be onsite at SAH to conduct pre-polling for overnight patients only from March 18 to 20.
On these days one mobile polling team will be visiting patient rooms between 10.00am - 4.00pm.
This pre-poll service is for overnight patients who may be in hospital during the election period. The election staff will attempt to do all they can to see every overnight patient possible on the days noted above but there is a chance patients may be missed if they are not in their room when the pre-polling team is in their ward.
Leading up to the election on 23 March, if you are coming to hospital please consider applying for a postal vote form at https://registration.ivote.nsw.gov.au/ or writing to the commission if you feel there could be sufficient reason for why you won't be able to vote on March 23. More information can be found at https://www.elections.nsw.gov.au/.
Please note that postal vote applications close 6pm AEDT Monday 18th March 2019. Completed postal vote forms are able to be collected by the mobile polling teams visiting SAH.
