San Carols is almost here!

The San’s iconic much loved annual free Carols for the community is this Sunday 9th December.

Children from Wahroonga Adventist School met up with Carols performer Emily Rex and San Bear in preparation for Carols.

Traditionally attracting staff and their families, patients and local residents, musical theatre stars Amanda Harrison and Kane Alexander and The Voice contestant Emily will be joined by Wahroonga Adventist School Choir, and children’s entertainers Poppy and Branch from Trolls. Much loved Macquarie Media TV and radio journalist and broadcaster Tim Webster is acting as master of Ceremonies for the evening. The evening will finish with a spectacular fireworks to the inspirational Hallelujah Chorus. Parking is free.

San CEO Brett Goods has invited the local community to attend.

“We love the community joining us for San Carols by Candlelight. It’s an opportunity for family and friends to unite and share goodwill, validating the San’s role in helping restore people to good health and fulfilling lives.

Christmas highlights the significance of family, and we see all the community as our family. The San Carols are our Christmas gift to our community.”

Cooranbong’s singer songwriter musician and 2014 The Voice contestant singer songwriter Emily Rex is amongst the performers.

“Christmas is always a special time of the year for me since I that’s when I can spend quality time with family and friends and performing at San Carols is a dream come true.

Singing is what I love to do most.

I arrived in Australia as a child and not able to speak English and singing gave me a way to communicate.

I’ve always loved singing Carols most of all. I feel honoured to have been asked to sing and share the joy of Christmas.”
